GM TRYING TO GET VOLT READY FOR PRODUCTION BY 2010
GM is trying but can't promise that the new Volt Hybrid will be ready for the masses in 2010.
The lithium ion batteries still need more development before they are ready for hybrid consumers.
The Volt is scheduled to be built at GM's Poletown plant in Detroit.
